ISB Executive Education programmes are designed to address the learning needs of executives across a swathe of industries, functions, and organisations in the private and public sector. Each programme caters to a distinctive learning need and segment, ranging from early career professionals for certain programmes to senior professionals, including CXOs, founders and board members, for others. The duration of the programme varies by programme type. Comprehensive Leadership Programmes entail intensive learning journeys that comprise a broad business management and leadership curriculum, personalised coaching, and action learning projects, and typically span 4 to 11 months. Topic Focused Programmes are targeted, immersive learning experiences that dive deep into a topic, and range from 2 days (on campus) to a few weeks (live virtual).

Most in-person programmes are held at the Indian School of Business campuses. In the case of enterprise solutions, alternative locations may include external venues based on the requirement, convenience, and availability of the client organisation. Please refer to individual programme details for specific locations.
We also offer virtual programs in live online and asynchronous formats. Some of our self-paced, professional development programmes are offered in partnership with leading online providers of professional education.

To apply to a programme, you need to submit an online application. Please note that if you have not applied to a programme previously, you will need to register and create an account with us.
To apply for a specific programme, visit the Applicant Login page and select the programme that interests you. You will then complete the online form with your details and objectives to apply for the programme. You can also apply to individual programmes by clicking on the apply button on the programme page.
Most of our Comprehensive Leadership Programmes require an application fee whereas most Topic-Focused Programmes do not. You can find the relevant details in the respective programme brochure.
Admissions into a cohort are awarded on a space-available basis. We recommend that you apply as early as possible to reserve your seat. For in-person programmes on campus, you may also require time to plan your travel. Accommodation arrangements are made by ISB Executive Education post confirmation of enrolment by payment of the blocking-fees.
We acknowledge the receipt of your application by email within 24 hours, provided it is received during regular working hours (Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 05:00 IST). The Admissions team reaches out to the screened/qualifying applicants on a rolling, space-available basis. We encourage you to submit your applications as early as possible to reserve your seat in the programme.

Yes, the selection process for ISB Executive Education programmes is competitive as we tightly control class size towards a rich and meaningful experience. Additionally, we work to ensure diversity of participants across industries and backgrounds. Therefore, if you are not admitted into a particular cohort, we encourage you to re-apply in the future or consider other programmes that may be of interest to you.
Programmes combine lectures, case studies, business simulations, small group discussions, action learning projects, role play and other carefully chosen pedagogies to deliver cutting-edge thought leadership and perspectives. The content is taught by World-class resident and visiting faculty, who draw on extensive research expertise in emerging markets, International experience working or consulting with Global organisations, and experience teaching in leading business schools worldwide. Participants are expected to attend all sessions to get the most out of their programme and to be eligible to receive their certificates. However, if participants are unable to attend a specific live virtual session due to exigencies outside of their control, they are encouraged to reach out to the Programme Delivery team in advance, to be eligible to receive access to session recordings for a limited time. Please note that Executive Network and Executive Alumni benefits are only available to those who successfully complete the minimum programme requirements.
The typical class size for our open programmes ranges between 30 to 75 participants, depending on the type of programme and participant profile.
The curriculum for all ISB Executive Education programmes is designed keeping in mind the professional commitments of the working professionals. Our live virtual sessions last 2 to 4 hours and are usually scheduled on weekdays in the late evenings and/or at convenient times on weekends.
Self-paced online modules can be completed by the participants as per their convenience, within a given time frame.
Programmes that include campus immersions require participants to travel and be present in person. These requirements may, however, require you to take a leave of absence from your workplace only for the duration of the immersion.
ISB Executive Education does not generally allow partners, friends, or family to accompany participants because our programmes are very intensive with 6-hour learning sessions, followed by networking opportunities that may run late into the evening. Post-classroom sessions, teams also get together to complete their project work and group assignments. In exceptional cases such as dependent infants, caretakers for disabled participants, etc. please get in touch with the Programme Delivery team to submit a request, which will be considered on a case-to-case basis.
Yes, the fee for programmes that are delivered on campus includes lodging and meals for participants. All meals are provided at dining halls located within the campus.
The programme fee includes tuition, all programme materials, meals and refreshments. It also includes single-occupancy accommodation on campus or an equivalent facility based on availability. Travel costs and Incidental expenses are not included in the programme fee and are to be borne by the participants.
No. Financial aid is not available for ISB Executive Education programmes.

Payment can be made by credit card, bank wire transfer, or a wide variety of other online payment modes. Detailed information regarding payment will be included with your invoice.
Complete payment for topic-specific programmes is required prior to the programme start date. Upon acceptance, payment for the advance deposit/blocking fee is required in full, prior to the programme start date. The balance instalment(s), if any, are due within 30 days of their respective invoice date(s). The payment schedule, which carries details of the instalments with their due dates, will be provided to you along with your offer letter.
ISB does not encourage cancellation or deferrals, and any requests should be submitted in writing with a strong reason for either. The decision for cancellation will solely rest with ISB based on the case submitted by the prospective learner.
Most of our participants, including those who are local to the city, choose to stay on campus during their programme. We highly recommend you stay and explore our iconic campuses as it enhances the learning experience and reduces the distraction of commuting to and from campus each day.
Accommodation at the Executive Housing is reserved for you for the duration of your programme only. Due to other ongoing programmes in session, we are usually not able to offer early arrival accommodation in the said facility. However, you may place a request seeking permission from your Programme Delivery representative with a valid reason to stay, prior to or after the programme on campus. Last-minute requests may not be accommodated.
If you are residing on campus, you will not need a car. The campus is best experienced on foot.
Participants are encouraged to bring their personal laptop or any suitable device for participating in activities and completing assignments during the programme. Our campus facilities offer high-speed wireless internet.
Yes, laptops are allowed in class. However, you may use it only when required or asked by the faculty to avoid distractions.
We recommend business casual attire in class and formal attire for formal networking sessions during the programme.
Yes. Digital payments are accepted at most campus outlets as well.
