Summary

Digital technologies are engendering new business models and reshaping business functions across diverse industries. In turn, the competitive landscape of these industries has been fundamentally altered, with digital start-ups and tech giants like Amazon, Netflix, and Google already entrenched and emerging as formidable competitors, steadily eating into the market share of diverse industry incumbent leaders in these industries. This modern technology-led competitive landscape underscores the pressing need to redefine value, re-invent paradigms for creating and extracting value, reshape culture and collaboration organisational processes and culture, and be equipped to maintain competitive advantage and lead in new ways to drive competitive advantage and sustainable growth.

The Strategic Digital Leadership Programme is developed to offer key insights and skills vital for thriving in an era of digital transformation. It reinforces the critical demand for leaders who can actively shape the digital narrative, ensuring their organisations remain competitive and innovative in a world where digital prowess dictates market leadership. This comprehensive programme is structured around four foundational pillars: Digital Business Models, Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI), Digital Innovation, and Leading Digital Strategies spread over three transformational phases.

Phase one of the programme delves into the transformations enabled by digital technologies, focusing on AI-led business impacts and disruptive digital business models. This phase will also provide an understanding of what constrains incumbent response to digital transformation. The second phase emphasises real-world application through Business Leadership Challenge (BLC), allowing participants to apply their insights in practical contexts. The final phase of the programme explores digital innovation and leadership, equipping leaders with a playbook for creating new products and services using digital technologies and managing effective leadership of digital transformation efforts in their organisations. It focuses on the interplay between humans and technology and addresses organisational challenges related to digital transformation.

Targeted at functional leaders and mid to senior-level managers, this programme is well suited for those aiming to embed state-of-the-art digital strategies in their leadership portfolio. It is ideal for professionals who want to learn how to align emerging technologies with business objectives to catalyse organisational growth in a digitally dominated world.
