Future Fit Leaders Programme - JSW Group

The Future Fit Leaders programme, created by ISB Executive Education in collaboration with the JSW Group, brought together employees from across the group’s businesses for a structured leadership programme at the ISB campus. But for many participants, some of the most valuable learning happened outside formal classroom sessions, through conversations with colleagues navigating similar challenges in very different parts of the organisation. Several participants spoke about the importance of stepping away from day-to-day operational demands and engaging with peers from across the group. In many cases, discussions revealed how different businesses were grappling with similar leadership and market challenges, often in isolation. The programme created space for participants to exchange ideas, compare approaches, and reflect on how similar problems were being solved across the organisation.

The experience also challenged participants to rethink how leaders define competition and disruption. One participant reflected on how organisations often view competitors too narrowly, even though disruption can emerge from unexpected industries or business models. Others spoke about the pressure on leaders to continuously adapt and remain relevant in a rapidly changing business environment. Designed around discussion and peer interaction rather than lecture-led sessions alone, the programme encouraged participants to question existing assumptions and engage directly with faculty and colleagues. For many participants, the biggest shift was recognising how leadership challenges often extend beyond individual businesses and industries.
